Fern Avenue Residents

The FAR Group is a community group formed in 2005 by residents living in Fern Avenue with the aims of stimulating a sense of community in the street and of working to ensure that the street is a good place to live in terms of quality of life and a sense of belonging.

The Group welcomes membership from any resident in the street whether they are short term or long term. We arrange occasional social events, encourage communications between all residents and, generally, enable the sharing of views, information, and suggestions for improving the environment. The Group is actively supported by our local councillors.

There is no subscription fee and no obligation to be active though any contribution you might be able to make to the activities of the Group would be much appreciated. A small steering committee helps run the group. To join the group and receive our e-mail communications, or for more information
